It all begins with an idea.

JTR has a very successful and diverse motorsports background including racing karts, pavement super late models, amateur sports cars, GT4, GT3, MX-5 Cup, sprint and endurance racing.  In 2022 JTR won the IMSA Mazda MX-5 Cup Championship and WRL GTO National Championship, proving their championship pedigree.  JTR Motorsports Engineering’s 12,000 sq. ft. facility is located in North Vernon, Indiana.  We have five full time employees, of which two of them are engineers that graduated from IUPUI’s Motorsports Engineering program. Our ever-growing full-time staff allows us to have increased expertise in the shop and at the track. We use proprietary processes and inspection checklists that allow us to mitigate and prevent mechanical failures before they occur. At the track our driver coaching, and data analysis is second to none with Jared Thomas being our professional driver and engineer. Our goal is to develop all JTR customers into competitive drivers so that they will be carrying the JTR banner at the front of the field.  Our customers get to test at every track on the schedule, do lead follows, and share data with our house car.  Having a chassis and damper dynamometer in house allows our team to perform research and development as well as validate all JTR cars prior to any event ensuring there is no question about their performance when they leave our shop.
